I'd like to try the Xvid codec to encode some HDV footage in Premiere
Pro, but have no idea how to do so. I've downloaded and installed the
codec from xvid.org, but have no idea how to access the codec from
within Premiere Pro. It doesn't appear in any of the export options,
and I have no idea of ways to add Xvid as a codec to Premiere. Is
there a way to export in a different format such as MPEG2 and then
run it through Xvid outside Premiere?
I know several folks on this forum like to encode using Xvid. How do you do it?
