Thanx for the troubleshooting ideas.

You know when they say it's the simple stuff you should check first? Well, I 
was over thinking.
I feel like a complete moron, but I'll go ahead and tell my tale so no ones 
else will do it too. :P
The problem was that the DVD I had the video on was messed up; so that only 
the first VOB file was ripped... the second must have been slightly 
corrupted and didn't get ripped/encoded.
