take into consideration like limited exposure control etc. Most DSLR
cams don't allow you to manually set aperture or shutter time, or
auto-focus won't work, or worse, can't be turned off, or a push focus
is lacking.
The GH2 is very good at higher ISOs, there are ISO1600 and ISO3200
tests at youtube and vimeo.
A problem with the Sony VG10 is that it only shoots in interlaced
mode, not progressive.
As for a "normal" lens for the GH2, it's also sold as a kit with a
14-42mm lens for the normal work.
And don't forget that built-in 14-280mm (20x) lenses in camcorders
never can be as good as separate DSLR like limited range lenses, a
rule of thumb is that lenses with a larger than 4x range are
compromised somehow.
