Discussing cameras here is ok but if someone wants an advice on
choosing a new camera maybe once of the many dedicated
brand-specialized forums or websites would be better.
My advice for a new camcorder is the new Panasonic GH2 though. It's a
DSLR with amazing HD video capabilities and probably has the best
image quality / price ratio.
The GH2 records to AVCHD though and that is still an issue for
Premiere I believe, but it's also possible to record the HDMI output
to an external recorder from which can be imported to the Premiere
timeline directly.
