I don't know what Lee's budget is, but the 100-300mm Panasonic zoom
lens costs about 500 euro and the GH2 body costs about 700 euro so
it's 1200 euro in total. The GH2 has a crop function due to which the
300mm would work as a 500mm lens and this would be 1000mm compared to
full frame DSLR.
I ordered this 300mm zoomlens for the purpose of wildlife
videography. Maybe this combination is a bit heavier than smaller
video camcorders but again, the image quality is fantastic. I can't
think of anything better.
