Yes we can discuss buying second hand software in this forum (which
is legal in many countries) just as long as it's the original
CDs/DVDs. And let's face it, it's the attitude of giants like
Microsoft and Adobe that software can be used by first purchase only
(user agreement) which pushed some people to go the hacking/piracy
way. There's always two sides on every story, Adobe is making
billions but on the other hand tends to make things as difficult as
possible for their clients. And now it's clear that they are dropping
support for their product the way it works now (software installed on
your own PC) there are less reasons for supporting their future
development by paying the full price for their current product. So
buy second hand I would say. Just as long as we keep the "I pay for
things I want to use" attitude. What I hate most about pirates is
when they go preach their "everything should be for free" bullshit. I
wouldn't really mind discussing warez in here but the main problem
would be that it would attract that certain kind of scumbag so for
now let's not do it and stick to discussing legally purchased (new or
used) software only. If you still buy or use a warez version, just
don't mention it :-)
