Why would one model something after something that has been judged to be deficient - the only reason I can imagine is because someone thinks they can improve upon it - in which case the one isn't really using it as a model - a guide to ones actions - a thing to observe and take inspiration from - one is actually involved then in critique Chair, Visual Arts and Technologies The Cleveland Institute of Art
