George,

ePTP will be released in DFS bands within the 2.5 Beta release shortly. We are
integrating it right now.

2.5 msec PTP TDD latency will be improved latency over 5 msec and will allow
you to sync.

You are right about flexible scheduler in DFS as it supports a 5 msec frame.
Non-DFS the flexible frame shrinks and provides the improved latency that you
see.

Hopefully the first two alternatives available in the 2.5 release will meet
your needs.

Well you can drop 7.5ms of latency after 2.5 is released. That's if you need
sync to solve your problem.

That's the conundrum. The UBNT links are self interfering. ePTP does me no good
because no sync and the latency sucks with TDD, with or without sync. So the
one site where we're having the most issues, we're just going to move things
around and get more physical separation between the Rockets and hope that's
enough.

Well between towers what's stopping you from eptp? Should be an easy Monday
morning. Give me a ring if you can't get them associated.

Yes, last-mile I'm not so concerned with. It's the 50+ miles of PTP links that
add up. Now double that if a link goes down and traffic goes the long way
'round. I'm all for licensed, but the guy that writes the checks isn't. :(
