I’m thinking more along the lines that my first test site for 450i 900 MHz will be at a tower where I already have a CTM-2 master + slave and if it works out it will be replacing a 900 FSK sector that is currently powered from the CTM-2.
So I was kind of hijacking your thread. But I already have a fair amount of PF gear at this site. And I like it. On Thu, Dec 3, 2015 at 11:06 AM, Ken Hohhof <[email protected]> wrote: Hmmmm, what about a Last Mile Gear CTM-2? It has 5 different modes. A is for 29.5V Cambium, B is for 56V Cambium 320 and 430, and then there are 3 modes C/D/E for various forms of 802.3at. Should I assume one of these will power a 450i AP? What about timing, the documentation is not clear whether these modes can do sync. Would a Meanwell SD 120-48 PSU Work? On Thu, Dec 3, 2015 at 10:42 AM, Josh Baird <[email protected]> wrote: The SyncInjector can take up to ~57V (ignore the label). You will need to power it with 48V to power the 450i. There are problems with cable distance on SyncInjectors prior to H1 (I beileve). Depending on your cable distance, you may or may not see an issue from what I understand. It appears that it want a 48vdc power supply. What is the best way to set this up? Or will it actually accept the 29 vdc power supply on the SyncInjector?
