What is the price on these magnet mounts?

We used 250lbs magnets and it was a 3'x2' satellite dish non-pen. (My mistake
earlier.) We used a long J-arm
that we braced on two sides back to the mount so it was more of a tripod.

I guess the magnet could have a stud with a slot in the end. Put threaded
holes in the plate. You use a screw driver to adjust the magnet to plate and a
lock nut to secure it once it is set. I would rather have a nut on the other
side of the plate but hard to get a wrench into the center areas of a plate of
any size.

Yes, we had a backing nut. We did the outer edge, not the center. In total
I think we had
    10 magnets total.

Did you have to adjust a backing nut for each magnet or did you just set
them all the same and rely on the mount to flex a bit?
Seems difficult to adjust magnet nuts in the center of the array as they
would be under the mounting plate, right?

We followed the Magnemount design and took a typical 5'x5' non-pen and
drilled holes in it and put
a lot of magnets on it. The magnets had pretty long bolts on them so we
used that to adjust each
magnet so it would still sit flat on a curved surface.

It's been holding a 2ft dish just fine for a couple years now.

I was suggesting maybe stacking yours in a 4x4 pattern.

I have. They have a good system. Very expensive system but it is
nicely designed. Trying to fill a niche.

Have you ever looked at Magnemount? They stack them together and
make it as a plate to increase surface mount.
