Perhaps we should study not individual isms but the multi-ismic nature of human intelligence. Ism behavior appears similar to "reaction-diffusion automata". And there are local/global communications but older isms are based more on old protocols like word-of-mouth, snail-mail, print media verses newer protocols of the electronic internet substrate. These might be considered "glocal protocols". So ism behavior could be predicted by changing expressions within the reaction-diffusion model. And I would say isms are super-system attractors of agents, or consciousness clusters where the communication complexity and consciousness topology has a region of coherent efficiency. But typically there will always be multiple isms since the meta-learning dynamics in a society are always shifting due to its physically separated nature while having various forces of centralization, liberty, anarchy,... Until.. the human mind is directly coupled to the internet... and glocal protocols become even more efficient... requiring more monitoring by centralization authorities for thought control and for identifying and attacking ideological deviance from the dominant ism. But the word "comrade" symbolizes a similarly conscious self-identifying transmission packet containing bits and qubits of belief and uncertainty due to the separateness of agent nodes in a multi-ismic consciousness topology struggling over a finite resource environment. You could model the Marxian struggle between bourgeois and proletariat with reaction-diffusion automata perhaps, FWIW... And human beings are basically smart bacteria vehicles steering around consuming leafy green and meat negentropy while emitting entropy exhaust... like cellular automata pacman paragliders all mushing around reacting diffusing with each other... fighting over the dots... like bacteria. If it looks like bacteria, stinks like bacteria, reaction-diffuses like bacteria... it's probably bacteria. Comrade bacteria :) John ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/T469a197ad9315835-Mcee1a2c786b41eef6ac91c58 Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/subscription
