Jim Bromer is James Bowery no? Why doesn't he know about AI so well even though
he worked with the rawest best AI for decades??? Anyone that knows how PPM
works should be able to *see *how Transformers work, and *why *Logic based AI
is dead old GOFAI.

Logic based AI is/ or at least can be written in formal logic, and not natural
data. You should not need to always define where the rules are in text or
vision data though, the data does that itself. Yes there is a lot of times we
are told - as well as in data on the internet, that a cat is an animal, and a
robin is a type of bird, and the word thing can follow i bought a ___. But we
don't only use that, and if we did we would constantly be doing that to learn,
and we don't. It is a faster way to learn, but not the only way and it isn't
always there and done For you.

Much of the education an AGI would need is already written on the internet, it
can just suck it all up and become educated. Kind of like how I can start out
with a goal to learn AGI and learn a lot. All it needs to start with is a goal
though, and that is easy to start it off with.

As I said before, any set of data to learn from only needs a few programmed
rules to learn from it (like Transformers do), a brain is simple per see, it
can build a model of many different domains using the same rules. Logic based
AI that uses formal logic or too many direct specific rules or bluntly entered
data for each possible thing simply, is too simple and too direct, it may have
some flexible rules but not like those in Transformers.
