Yes, I had remembered that. I am extremely skeptical because there
aren't many independent sources of information.

I'm not all that health conscious, meaning I'm healthy enough to ignore
my health, for the most part. Being inquisitive, I have many questions
such as what I might be missing out on being the temperature I am at,
what health risks might I face as I get older, how much truth there is
to this "standard" body temperature and whether there are different
human lineages with different temperatures that are best for the
versions of the proteins that they inherited.

I'm not going to freak out and go "omg I gotta raise my body temperature
because it's not *normal*" unless I had a real reason to do so.

With so few people interested in the subject, I am wondering why I
should be either.

I do have a friend named keith who does have some kind of metabolic
problem, he needs to keep his apartment at an elevated temperature to be
comfortable and he can't eat much or he'll gain a lot of weight.
