I am reasonably happy with his definition of the opposition between artificial
geometric form and the “natural forms of nature.”

As a definition or prescription for art as a whole, it is absurd. Obviously we
need the whole picture tree of the arts from the abstract arts (of wh. Malevich
was one early pioneer) to the most concrete, realistic arts.

Not so obviously, but nevertheless profoundly truly, both the scientific and
artistic pictures of the world are totally interdependent and complementary. -
from the abstract, formulaic to the outline-concrete, iconic/cartoonish to the
more fully concrete photographic and sculptural.

These are complementary not just as external pictures of the world but as the
levels and media of fully intelligent thought – esp. AGI.

The idea that only one level of depiction/thought is sufficient – or can
embrace all the others – is quite intellectually mad, and won’t bear the
slightest empirical examination. It’s hyperspecialist thinking as opposed to
true generalist thinking of the new millennium.

I am very happy that you finally seem to have accepted that abstraction is the
way to go and indeed it is a great master that seems to have convinced you.
Kazimir Malevich may be my favorite artist and in terms of creativity need not
to fear comparison to anyone.

“The square is not a subconscious form. It is the creation of intuitive
reason.

It is the face of the new art.

The square is a living, royal infant.

It is the first step of pure creation in art. Before it, there were naive
deformities and copies of nature.

Our world of art has become new, non-objective, pure....

only a cowardly consciousness and meager creative powers in an artist are
deceived by this fraud and base their art on the forms of nature, afraid of
losing the foundation on which the savage and the academy have based their art.
