George Soros developed the notion of a Human Uncertainty principle very similar
to the Heisenberg Uncertainty principle.
Heisenberg's Uncertainty: The tester can influence the experiment.Soros' Human
Uncertainty: Predictions about the test will influence the experiment.
Introspection is not usually reliable because not only can you influence the
results by performing the test, but you can also influence the results by
anticipating the outcomes of the test.
That's all I have to say about that matter. I'm not going to say any more.
And BTW, if an AGI is to run on conventional computers, implemented in
conventional (3GL, 4GL, 5GL, 6GL) languages,they will need algorithms. No way
around it.
Cheers,

Have you ever thought of doing your own personal research? Recreating a
minute of your own thoughts about a given problem? Looking at the subject
directly rather than through others’ eyes?

I’m interested because the idea doesn’t seem to have occurred to you (or
Ben).- and of course it’s essential if you really want to explore how the
conscious mind works.
