Brown mustard is Black, Indian, or Japanese Mustard (Brassica) and wine or vinegar. Whole seeds will give it an exciting touch. Mustard Tipo Americano has turmeric and cheap ingredients. I doubt if mustard seed has much contribution. Mustard reacts for 20 minutes and needs to be opened outdoors downwind from your face. It needs to be kept in the dark for six weeks.
