Larry, do you have any idea why white mustard is illegal in most of France?
I have read some accounts of mustard which insist that there is no such
thing as white "true"  mustard - I guess that is the writer's way of saying
that white mustard belongs to a different genus and should not be considered
"true" mustard. 

 

I sometimes use popped mustard seed in my cooking.

 

Mustard greens are delicious mixed in the food processor into mashed
potatoes with a bit of olive oil.
