Yes. Once you have a board running that has had lock, re-acq should happen shortly after burn-out. (anything launched in a tower is probably going to accelerate fast enough to prevent lock during boost) With boards based on the ublox chip (TeleMetrum v2, all TeleMega), you *should* have solid GPS lock again well in advance of apogee.
