I believe that the previous replies covered the technical issues with an iPhone emulator on Android but there's no reason other emulators might not be doable and potentially useful. A decent Palm emulator, for example. (One of the few reasons I might go for a Pre.) Or something like PocketDos. Make DosBox or Boch's run on (or in spite of) Android - that would be incredibly cool and you wouldn't have to start from scratch. Of course, the former might have as many legal issues as the iPhone and I don't know what kind of technical challenges there would be for the latter but while iPhone will still win for the sheer number of apps there are some of us who would love to use older programs and games we already own.
