encrypted wifi (i use wpa) works well, although reconnect after suspend doesn't always work (on the first try) as for the boot-messages, just ignore them. i am not sure what the mountd does, but i do not miss it. maybe it has something to do with the sdcard? playmp3 sees to try to play some startup-sound, which doesn't work and i never missed that flashrecovery might be some backup mechanism. well i flash the freerunner too often, so i do not need something like this now.
