You should be able to read the apple II files with an older version of Claris works (3 or older). if that works convert to cw 4 then to cw 5, then cw 6. i don't think you can go straight to cw 6 from cw 4. But, i may be wrong, since i'm not perfect. Also maclink plus file conversion software for Mac. (i'm having a senior moment, i hope that is the right name.) You might even web search for a older copy of a mac version of gutenberg and/or a translator.
