Why are all of the people posting here trying to reinvent the wheel ? Are the files Dos 3.3 or Prodos ? That is the question to answer. If they are dos 3.3 will Appleworks open them ? If Appleworks opens them, then open each file and save them to a 800K 3.5 disk. Then have someone open them on an Macintosh and save them as Wordperfect 4.1/5 files on another dos formatted 1.44 meg floppy. Open the files on an pee-cee in Works and the program will translate the files to works. I have done this lots of times and 98% of the formatting will stay intact. Each document will have to be checked over for extra characters and garbage but they will be readable.
