UKA_PPP is for offline use !!!
PINE is for online use ...
It only loads the HEADERS of the messages.
If you want to read the message, you press enter, and that message is
loaded.

The DOS-PINE version shows here only 3 drawbacks.
1) it will be not developed any further
2) it only supports IMAP
3) if you want to subscribe to a NG, and don't enter a search pattern, than
it exits because of lack of memory.
Except these it works GREAT here ..., but Sam seems to have more problems
