Yes, it does. In order to download mail from the Telebot POP3 server,
I merely changed my mail settings for my Arachne. Isn't that what IMAP
is all about.....making a provision for using an alternative POP3 server?

According to instructions appearing on web-sites offering IMAP, one is
just supposed to configure an internet mail client to access the server
operated by the web-site. I haven't seen anything telling me that I
should use a different port number.

It identifies itself as a POP3 server. It is my understanding that IMAP
is merely an internet protocol or a feature that allows one to simply
configure an email client to access an alternative POP3 server. If my
concept is entirely incorrect, then please refer me to a source of
information.
