A IMAP server gives more interactivity with the user than a POP server
will. For instance when you connect to a POP server (and not via Telnet)
you can not choose which mails you want to delete, IMAP gives this ability
to you.
A typical IMAP aware program would show you some of the header information
(as you already see in InSight) and then when you click on a link it will
download that mail from the server and show it to you (as opposed to make a
html file from the already downloaded mail).
AFAIK very few IMAP servers and programs exist, and adding it to Arachne
should be a very low priority project - but that's only IMHO of course.
