When I started using Arachne (somewhere around version 1.41) there was a big
discussion on the list about Arachne going to sleep, reloading *old* cached
pages, etc. Michael P. came on the list and advised that he had set a limit
of 256 items in the cache. If that changed, then I am unaware of it. (BTW,
the other limit to the cache is available space. I run cache on a RAM disk
on one computer and if the RAM disk gets filled up *before* the 256 limit,
Arachne will stop/crash also.)
