Apparently you didn't see my previous post:

There are those on this much better qualified than I to
address your questions and give help. To do this the Arachne
list needs more info about your computer system and access.
1. System info (CPU,speed,etc.)
2. Type of web access (ISP, LAN, Cable)
3. Com port you are using (Com1, Com2, Com3 or Com4).
4. Description of problem with Arachne setup or error message.
I am just a newbie to Arachne and only was able to connect
with Arachne because of help from this list. They will get you
connected if you persevere.
