Hi Karen,
I have fiddled with some software that screen
reads and also some speech recognition software. One
of the companies was Dragonware or something like that.
The screen reading was quite reliable but the speech
recognition left a lot to be desired.
Sending printer output to a file which ascii to
speech synthesis software could read sounds like a plausable
idea. However there may be a more direct way beyond my
knowledge. I am definitely a neophyte concerning speech
synthesis/screen reading.
