 Thank you for the vote of confidence in my abilities.
But (there's always a "but" :-) ), it just can't be done in Arachne.
Core.exe operates in "graphics mode" only.
Screen readers must have the display set to "text mode".
So, if core.exe is running.... the speech program will be silent.

The HTML files themselves are not the problem.
Graphics mode is the problem. :-(
