re: using arachne with speech?

hi,!

i have learned by taking a peek at my manual that indeed my
synthesizer can capture data sent to the printer port and speak
it. 
even on line, if i can use this feature while arachne is working,
it may be a solution, that either alone, or with the mime.cfg
idea.
since i have not been able to do anything aside from unpack the
thing, i cannot honestly say that arachne is "up and running,"
but we do have some basis with which to test
