But this sounds like you are looking for a little Linux to install in a dos partition. I've just recently tried Pygmy Linux with some satisfaction. I downloaded 5 or 6 floppy sized compressed files into a C:\LINUX directory. One of the files was a self-extracting exe which opened everything up into a pretty complete Linux system that boots from a dos batch file. Everything I've tried (lynx, pine, fetchmail, telnet, ftp) works well. I think I downloaded the files from the sunsite.unc.edu ftp server. Hope you enjoy it. Bob Webster An occasional Arachne user.
