Did you lose any email messages? Only problem I had with the Arachne server was
receiving some messages in duplicate. But I have had the problem where my email
client would download a message and then bomb or get stuck, leaving that
message, and in some cases messages before that, still on the server.
First time, under OS/2 Warp 4, I don't know why Ultimail Lite downloaded the
same 18 messages every 15 minutes, while the OS/2 port of popclient downloaded
79 messages, ending the snag and ending my use of Ultimail Lite. Later,
popclient, and also NetMail for DOS, got stuck on messages with one or more
lines having 1024 characters, but UKA_PPP aka NOS-BOX rescued the situation.
Do you know what caused Arachne to get stuck?
