I got linux up and installed Xfree86 v4.xx seems to be ok except some
error messages I also downloaded netscape v4.xx and even went surfing on
the web but more error messages !
had to use MC in X to run netscape. what do I need now ? a manager ?
I downloaded two and cant get any to install,bash says no make file!!!?
so how fix ?
does linux config (block diagram) like this

Desktop
manager
server
os

is it layered as such? if so I need a manager next ok? how install when
linux keep bitching?
