You're right about floppies.  But I don't think hard discs have that
issue.

It looks like a BASIC program that is interested in ADFS formats and so
mentions Hugo.  There must be multiple copies on the drive, or old
deleted copies no overwritten yet, hence each of those ones you sent
earlier having the same gap of 24 bytes.

However, it looks corrupt.  Here's a fragment.

There's no 0x0d characters anywhere in the 2048 bytes of data you sent.
BASIC stores lines as the bytes (0x0d, linenum >> 8, linenum & 0xff,
len) followed by len bytes of tokenised line.  You do seem to have lots
of `#' characters, but even if it's assumed `#' are really \r it still
doesn't work.

If this is BASIC then it appears either the FTP wasn't in binary mode,
or an attempt to check or undo FTP translation with Perl failed.  Is the
original, produced by the DOS program, file available?
