Hi Axton,

I have searched all pid files in whole system. Can you give me the name of that
pid file which should be deleted. These pid files are:

/var/adm/log/agent.pid

/var/tmp/seccalld.pid

/var/run/syslog.pid

/var/run/sendmail.pid

/usr/local/etc/sshd.pid

/etc/syslog.pid

/bto/sys/pa/paDownload.ksh.pid

/bto/sys/tng/em/emsrvc/config/router.pid

/bto/sys/tng/em/tmp/cau9en2.pid

/bto/sys/tng/em/tmp/wmrsd.pid

/bto/sys/tng/em/tmp/cau9ctk.pid

/bto/sys/tng/em/tmp/cau9cli.pid

/bto/sys/tng/em/tmp/stardaemon.pid

/tmp/archive_logs.pid

/tmp/archive_logs_daily.pid

But don't think so required pid file is there in the list. Server directory
path is: /opt/app/ar/<server name>/db/.

Thanks & Regards,

Tarun

** When you start remedy as root, it creates the pid files as root. When you
later try to start as a non-root user, it can not update/delete the old pid
files. Stop Remedy, look for files owned by root in the remedy installation
folder, remove the files, then try to start it as non-root.

Hello,

We are using ARS 6.3 with SunOS 5.9 with Java 1.4.2_05.

When we are starting arsystem by 'root' login, all services are running fine.
But we are getting an error while we are trying to start arsystem by using
login as 'aradmin'. It is starting all required services except 'arplugin'.
When it is trying to start plugin it gives error like this:

I think it can be permission issue to some folder or file may be related to
Java but do not know the exact name. I have already checked permissions for
arsystem, lck, conf and plugin files. All are looking fine for user 'aradmin'.
Please share if some one has an idea about the solution of this error.

Thanks & Regards,

Tarun
