Dear Deep Bora,
Even if the father is an illegal migrant and the son will be an indian citizen
if the son was born in Indian territory/ soil, . This tactic is used even in
countries like USA. I am quoting below the citizenship chapter of Indian
constitution. You may have a look.

Subject: [asom] Deportation of Bangladeshi

Dear Sirs/Madams,

There was a news that, The identified Bangladeshi Mr. Kamaruddin of Jomunamukh
was arrested and being sent to Bangladesh. But the Wife and Childrens of
Kamaruddin are allowed to stay in India. I dont understand, if the Father is
illegal Bangladeshi how the Childrens can be citizens of India.

if it is so, how many Bangladeshis out of the about 50 lacs we will be able to
expell?

Deep Bora
