I feel this problem can not be solved politically at all. Politicians use these people as vote bank. As Mr. Hazarika already mentioned, we should learn from our earlier experience. These days lots of protests against illegal migrant is going on across the state. It reminds me the days of "Asom Andolon". No point of losing the valuable academic year of students.
One solution to this problem can be - avoid using the service of these illegal migrants with immediate effect. If we want a solution we have to stop using the service extended by these migrants. For that matter stop the following service provided by these people : Rickshaw puller, Thela puller, Carpenter, Labour, Vegetable vendors. If these migrants can pack the Biharis of the state by capturing their business, then why we Assamese people can't send the Bangladeshi people back to their own land ? For that we need to be mentally tough as well as we have to be serious about the future of our next generations. This is something every Assamese can do. For that we do not need to wait for politician, any organization to start some agitation. So, adopt this practice immediately at your home and spread the message to your neighbour. Can't we do this ?
