I don't know about 80 Km over level terrain, but I set up a system a few years ago, with 2 sites near Pearson airport and one in Brampton on West Dr. There was one multi-floor office building near the airport and the other sites were big warehouses. You could see the Brampton site from the other 2, with binoculars. There were 3 links in a triangle configuration, to provide redundancy. One thing to bear in mind is that received power is inversely proportional to the square of distance and there are technical and legal transmit power limits. Also, as your signal strength decreases, you have to decrease bandwidth, to maintain a usable signal.
