One thing realated to audio and hearing cababilties. If your hearing vanishes or bents the way you percieve your envioment doesn´t. The brain corrects this all the time and you get used to this. A Hifi system tries to picture a real enviroment and to copy reality. So the needs for quality audio doesn´t change but you´ll get less sensitive to some aspects such as ultra highs.
