Were I in your situation, I would separate the audio from the AV - that's my angle: I use a stereo system with an 8' projector :) So that would involve getting a proper audio amplifier, plugging the SB2 and the pre-outs of the Denon into it, and then you have an audio system. I imagine that AV amps might sound better than they did 2-3 years ago when I last heard one, but they would need to (I welcome comments from others on this). The last ones I heard were terrible, but in mitigation the Denons were the best! I can't comment on your speakers - I thought the Mission 776 was a battery powered preamp now 20-odd years old; rather nice as I remember! -- adamslim SB3 and Shanling CDT-100, Rotel RT-990BX, Esoteric Audio Research 859, Living Voice Auditorium IIs, Nordost cables ------------------------------------------------------------------------ adamslim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7355 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=28256 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
