Start with the speakers! ( front mains first) Lots of good ones.. Vandersteen, Proac, B&W, Thiel, Focal, Dynaudio.. Just to name a few.. Once you find the ones you love add electronics that compliment them, not just drive them. Then source, then cables, and powerline conditioning. The trick to a great sounding system is balance, synergy between components, and listening.
