I would probably suggest an integrated, as the volume might be useful with the SB2. Although I have not yet tried to determine the sonic impact of the digital volume control, others have. What I have done is plug a CD player with a volume control into an enormous (about three cubic feet) Musical Fidelity power amp and had about 300W pumped into the speakers at full volume. The speakers (huge Tannoys) survived, although my ears suffered for a while!
