i'm trying to go from mid fi to mid + fi. this system will be used for both stereo and home theater. from the components i'm considering you can see how much i'm willing to pay! thanks for the suggestions!

I guess the question is what are you trying to acomplish and at what $$$ Everything you have and I'm not trying to be rude is pretty mid fi ( except the Denon which is a good home theater receiver , but not a great sounding amplifier) if I was trying to redo the system I'd start with auditioning better speakers. After that find electronics that will drive them right, then cables and power line conditioning.
