I use Toslink for my SB2 digital output, mainly because it goes into a Behringer DEQ 2496. But for those looking for a reasonably-priced solution for 75 Ohm cables with RCA connectors for S/PDIF or analog applications, I wrote up something on this at the link below:
http://db.audioasylum.com/cgi/m.mpl?forum=cables&n=96817&highlight=Paladin+andy_c&r=&session= The connectors used are Canare crimp-type RCA. The crimper is a Paladin unit that's much cheaper than either the Monster or Canare crimpers. That post describes how to make the cables with the Belden 89259 coax, but the technique can be adapted to other cable types. -- andy_c ------------------------------------------------------------------------ andy_c's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3128 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26052 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
