So far so good :) .. and its really promising that the HDCD indicator
turns on with the 24 bit output checkbox selected ...

.... but as I asked before ... does this 24 bit file contain all the 20
bits of HDCD information or is it still only 16 bits of redbook data
scaled to a 24 bit format? What happens when you carry out the exact
same process on a non-HDCD file? How does it visually appear in
Audacity? Is there also a similar change in headroom?
