You seem to say the contrary. Well, I do understand that fiber used for
async communications are designed for long distances (because of the
protocol), but I can't imagine how could this be possible on audio.

I'm ashame to admit that I'm not a engineer, but I have some solid
scientific basics and I can understand things when they are explained
simply.
So, can you explain to me, please ? Thank you.
