Oh, well, and I agree with you pat(farrell): on hifi audio, my own
experience shows exactly what you have mentioned.
In fact, I noticed that measurements are often valid when comparing the
same kind of gear (dac with dac, amp with amp) and when the two gear use
the same design and technology (transitor AB amp vs another AB amp).
Somehow though, some measures don't reflect my listening comparative
experience when used to compare different technologies (a class A and a
class D amp, for instance). Their comparison becomes incoherent. It
really puzzles me ('cause I'm a logic-driven guy).
