This attempt sounds really like they now start to add harmonics to impress even the last non-believer. Just lately i stumbled about another DAC that explained some fancy upsampling together with "restauration" of infos. This sounds like now we have to judge the best harmonic exciter and not the most natural reproduction :) Maybe it is better to get some VST plugins and pimp every standard recording to my liking with Spectralizers/Harmoinic Rebirthers/Exciters and alike DSP stuff before my DAC does it. Everyone his own but when it comes to products that use that stuff for standard playback it starts to get weird imho.
