* yes se stereophiles measurement on the wadis 850 for example .

* it's getting old SoX is abused to do things like this already :)
mimick some minimum phase response or apodising and when you use weird
enough parameters even SoX gets audible if manage to get a smooth treble
roll of from 17k and down and it sounds " less aggressive with no
digital glare " oh ah .

I have no doubt that wadia are much better audio engineers than I've
ever going to be but I start to wonder if not at the core some of the
designers distrust nyquist ?
This is not uncommon in any profession ,there are numerous unproven or
actually disproven practices going around in every profesion. ( MD's
giving you the "sugar pill" you get antibiotics against something it is
useless for  is a common case ).
