* yes se stereophiles measurement on the wadis 850 for example . * it's getting old SoX is abused to do things like this already :) mimick some minimum phase response or apodising and when you use weird enough parameters even SoX gets audible if manage to get a smooth treble roll of from 17k and down and it sounds " less aggressive with no digital glare " oh ah . I have no doubt that wadia are much better audio engineers than I've ever going to be but I start to wonder if not at the core some of the designers distrust nyquist ? This is not uncommon in any profession ,there are numerous unproven or actually disproven practices going around in every profesion. ( MD's giving you the "sugar pill" you get antibiotics against something it is useless for is a common case ). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97944 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
