What about the final Getting Started guide available only as a .pdf file?
Would it be possible to have that as an OD file so that we can translate it?
There is no single OD file for the Getting Started guide. It is a
made from a master document. All of the individual files are in
the published folder (except for the two that are still in the
drafts folder. The master document is in the published folder, I
think (I can't check right now).

I cannot access that page, it tells me that I have "insufficient privileges" -
my username is alkat.
I have given you author privileges, so you should be able to
access that page now. Let me know if you still have problems. I
am at a conference this weekend so I may not respond quickly.
How do you plan to update this documentation to future versions
of OOo? It would be quite important for us (and for all using a CAT tool) if
the structure and sentences used remain as similar as possible to the current
version.
This could be a problem with some chapters, because some of them
will be rewritten so much that they are totally new. The chapter
on Mail Merge in the Writer Guide is a good example: it was
recently completely changed. But in many (probably most) cases I
think the changes will be small, so the structure and sentences
will remain very similar to the current version. New sections may
be added, but the existing material should not change a lot.
